Klutzy’s secret recipe for Herbert approved Kale Chips
You Will Need:
- Baking tray
- Measuring spoons
- Plastic bag
- Small bowl
Ingredients:
- Green kale
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp parmesan or asiago cheese
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 300ºF (150ºC)
- Tear the kale leaves off the thick stems, and into bite size pieces
- Shake the kale in a plastic bag with the olive oil until evenly coated
- Mix the cheese, spices and salt together in the bowl
- Toss the seasoning into the bag of kale and shake
- Spread out the kale on the cookie sheets
- Bake for about 10-15 minutes, until edges are brown and kale is crispy when moved in pan (be careful not to burn them)
- Let cool for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
