A complete step-by-step guide for Mission 7: Clockwork Repairs.

- Talk to Gary the Gadget Guy.
- Click the Snow Forts monitor that Gary points to. You see the polar bear and crab from Mission 5 removing the prime gear and target-winder from the Clock Tower. A spring flies off toward the Iceberg.
- Talk to Gary again. He asks you to repair the Clock Tower. To do this, you’ll need to find the missing spring and target and create a new gear.
- Before leaving HQ, go to the other side of the room and click the center of the Invention Cabinet. A combination lock using secret-agent code appears.
- Return to Gary and tell him you need to use the Electromagnet 2000. He tells you the password is “key”
- Go back to the Invention Cabinet and click it again. Using the secret-agent code shown in the bottom-right corner of your screen, use the up and down arrows to set the lock to key. The lock opens.
- Take the Electromagnet 2000 and place it in your inventory.
- Go into the Gadget Room.
- Look at the shelves, take the life-preserver ring from the top shelf, and add it to your inventory. (If you want extra information about repairing the clock, you can go to the Snow Forts and talk to Rory, the penguin standing near the Clock Tower.)
- Go to the Iceberg. You’ll see the missing spring frozen inside a large ice cube floating in the water.
- From your inventory, use the Electromagnet 2000 on the ice cube to pull it out of the water.
- Put both the ice cube and the Electromagnet 2000 back into your inventory.
- Head to the Ski Village and talk to the two penguins about the physical properties of snow.
- Go to the Beach.
- Talk to the yellow penguin sitting in the fancy snow chair. He explains that his chair was crafted by a yellow puffle.
- Take the green bucket next to him and add it to your inventory.
- Go to the Dock and talk to the two penguins wearing blue team uniforms. They explain how they obtained the Clock Tower target. Ask if you can have the target. They agree to give it to you if you can hit it with a snowball three times.
- To throw a snowball, click and hold your mouse button to build power. Aim slightly ahead of the moving target and click again to throw the snowball. You have ten snowballs. If you don’t hit the target three times, you can try again.
- After hitting the target three times, talk to the penguins to receive the target. Put the target in your inventory.
- Give the life-preserver ring from your inventory to the penguins so they can keep practicing.
- Go to the Town.
- Talk to Rookie, the agent you met in Mission 3. He is handing out posters for the missing Clock Tower gear. Tell Rookie you’ve been looking for a picture of the gear. He offers you a poster.
- Click the poster he gives you and add it to your inventory.
- Go to the Snow Forts.
- Take the green bucket from your inventory and scoop up snow. Put the bucket of snow back into your inventory.
- Go to the Plaza and enter the Pizza Parlor.
- Take the sheet of music near the piano and add it to your inventory.
- Go to the Stage.
- Place the sheet of music from your inventory onto the piano. A yellow puffle peeks out from behind the curtain.
- Play the song by matching the colored notes on the sheet to the matching colored piano keys. The yellow puffle comes out.
- Click to the left or right side of the screen to exit the piano close-up view.
- Give the poster from your inventory to the yellow puffle.
- Give the bucket of snow from your inventory to the puffle. The puffle creates a gear out of snow. (If you give the puffle snow from anywhere other than the Snow Forts, the gear will fall apart.)
- Put the empty bucket back into your inventory.
- Put the newly made gear into your inventory.
- Return to HQ and go back into the Gadget Room.
- Find the Test Chamber.
- Place the ice cube from your inventory onto the right side of the conveyor belt. Click the red handle to move the ice cube into the chamber. Press the fire button on the right to melt the ice. Click the red handle again to move the spring out of the chamber. Add the spring to your inventory.
- Place the snow gear from your inventory onto the conveyor belt. Click the red handle to move the gear into the chamber. Press the red snowflake button on the left to superchill the gear. Click the red handle again to move the gear out of the chamber. Put the reinforced gear back into your inventory.
- Go to the Snow Forts.
- Click near the bottom of the Clock Tower to view the clockwork.
- Place the spring from your inventory into the clockwork.
- Place the gear from your inventory into the clockwork.
- Place the target from your inventory onto the winding arm to the left of the Clock Tower. The Clock Tower starts working again.
- Answer your ringing spy phone. It’s the polar bear. After the call, Gary walks out and congratulates you on your excellent work.
- Talk to Gary.
