A complete step-by-step guide for Mission 4: Avalanche Rescue.

1. Talk to Gary the Gadget Guy. Continue speaking with him until you can ask: “Where can I find the life preserver shooter?”
2. Click the Gadget Room security door to enter.
3. Take the Life Preserver Shooter from the top shelf of the display case.
4. Teleport to the Ski Lodge.
5. To the right of the back door leading to the ice-fishing hole, pick up the fishing pole.
6. Teleport to the Lighthouse.
7. Take the rope hanging from the rowboat.
8. Climb to the Lighthouse Beacon.
9. Open your Spy Phone, select the wrench, and remove the telescope from the railing.
10. Add the portable telescope to your inventory.
11. Teleport to the Sport Shop.
12. Remove the brown belt from the lime-green penguin mannequin.
13. Exit to the Ski Village.
14. Talk to the crying brown penguin, who explains the ski lift is broken.
15. Use the brown belt on the ski lift motor to fix it.
16. Pick up the white fur at the base of the lift.
17. Return to the Sport Shop and enter Gary’s Room.
18. Locate the tripod near the window.
19. Place the telescope on the tripod and look through it.
20. Observe the path network leading to four stranded penguins.
21. Write down the correct route sequence (left, center, or right).
    (The correct path changes each mission.)
22. Teleport to the Mountain / Ski Hill.
23. Click the ski run to begin your descent.
24. At each fork, follow the path you recorded earlier.
25. At the bottom, reach the crashed tubes and broken fence.
26. Combine the fishing pole with the Life Preserver Shooter.
27. Add the rope to create the rescue device.
28. Use the device at the edge of the cliff.
29. Use the preserver to clear the tangled branches on the right.
30. Click the middle penguin to grab the preserver.
31. Click the right penguin so both hang from it.
32. Move them above the branch and click the branch to place one penguin on it.
33. This bends the branch, allowing the hanging penguin to reach the third penguin.
34. Click to the right of the penguin on the branch so the hanging penguin picks up the third penguin.
35. Click the penguin on the branch to place all three onto the preserver.
36. Move left and click the ledge (left of the boulder) three times to set them down.
37. The penguins push the boulder off the ledge.
38. Click the three penguins again, then click between the ledge and branch to rescue the fourth penguin.
39. Back at the mountain top, put away the rescue device.
40. Talk to Gary and give him the white fur.
