What is Flash Player?

Flash Player is a program that lets you watch videos and animations on your computer. Everything you see in Club Penguin uses Flash.

What do I do if I’ve updated my Flash Player but am still getting the error message?

Already have the latest version of Flash Player, but still getting an error message?

If you’re using Internet Explorer, this might be an issue with a setting in your browser. Don’t worry, it’s easy to fix:

  • Click the tools gear in the top right corner of your Internet Explorer window
  • Select ‘safety’ to open the safety sub-menu
  • Make sure there is no check mark next to the ‘ActiveX Filtering’ option
  • If there is a check mark, click on it to remove it
  • Close and reopen your internet browser before playing Club Penguin

Why do I need to keep Flash Player updated?

At Club Penguin we use Flash for our games, animations and other features. For these to work properly, you’ll need to make sure you always have the latest version of Flash Player on your computer.

How do I update Flash Player?

Visit the Adobe Flash Player Download Center to download the latest version of Flash.

What will happen if I don’t update Flash Player?

If you don’t update your Flash Player to the latest version, Club Penguin will not work properly.

What should I do if Flash Player does not update when I click “Download Now”?

On the Adobe Flash Player Download Center page check that your correct operating system and browser is listed next to “Your system”. If you need to change this, click the link: “Do you have a different operating system or browser?”
