Are memberships refundable?

Sorry, Club Penguin memberships are nonrefundable.
Any applicable cancellation right is waived.
If you wish to cancel your recurring membership, log in to your Parent Account.
If you don’t have a Parent Account you can create one!

Why is there an additional fee on my credit card statement?

An extra fee showing up on your credit card statement may be an International Transaction Fee. This fee is charged by your credit card company on cross-border transactions. Club Penguin is not responsible for this fee. Please contact your credit card provider for more details.

How do I update my billing information or payment method?

If you would like to update your billing information or payment method, you’ll first need to cancel your child’s current membership and then purchase a new membership with your updated information.

• Log in to Manage Accounts to cancel your child’s current membership.
• Then visit our Membership page to update your child’s membership.

How do I use PayPal?

If you’d like to use PayPal as your payment method:

• Visit our Membership page
• Choose your membership plan and enter your penguin account information
• Only certain currencies accept PayPal as a payment method
• If PayPal is not available in your currency you can try US Dollar, Australian Dollar, British Pound Sterling, or Euro.
• PayPal memberships will automatically renew unless you choose to cancel

How much does membership cost?

The cost of a membership depends on what currency you make the purchase in and the membership plan you choose. 

• You can purchase recurring memberships online in 1, 6, and 12 month plans
• Membership Cards are available, in stores, in 1, 3, 6, and 12 month values
• You can also purchase a membership gift certificate online

Your purchase information is not stored by Club Penguin, and, instead, is stored by our payments processing vendor for the purpose of processing payments made to Club Penguin and for fraud prevention purposes. That information is safeguarded with appropriate security, and it will not be used for other purposes. Furthermore, our payments processing vendor has agreed to maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the personal and financial information it obtains from the Club Penguin website, and only to use this information on our behalf. Our financial institution is bound by all applicable privacy laws relating to the provision of financial services.
